Lose your luggage on Southwest Air?  You’ll need a notary public.Southwest Airlines lost luggage

While flying on Southwest Airlines to Boston, Las Vegas, Seattle or Austin you’ll likely get where you want to go on an enjoyable flight with some of the friendliest pilots and  flight attendants around. But even Southwest makes mistakes from time to time and there’s always a chance you’ll end up at your destination ala carte – that is, without your checked bags.

If you find yourself in this most unenviable position you’ll need to contact Southwest’s Customer Service department and request a missing baggage claim form. Unlike many airlines who simply require that you provide a copy of your photo I.D. with your claim form, Southwest requires that your completed claim form be signed and notarized.

While it’s a quick and easy form to fill-out and complete, you’ll need to arrange for a notary to meet you when signing the form. As a mobile notary, I’ve helped more than one client complete this form – it only takes about 5 minutes.

To complete the process you’ll need the following:

– Valid I.D. (including State issued Drivers License or I.D. Card, Passport or Military I.D.)

– The Southwest Airlines claim form

– A brief description of the type, size and color of your bag- plus a brief description of the contents.

Bay Area Mobile Notary is ready to meet you just about anywhere in the South Bay to notarize your documents today. Call us any time at (444) 444-4444
